Senior Grandmaster Pope attained his 9th Degree Black Belt in June 2023 after completing his SGM Demonstration at the National Event held in Chattanooga, TN.  Mr. Pope's was presented his rank with his instructor Senior Grandmaster Rick Hall and other fellow Masters and Senior Masters.
SGM Pope was inducted into the US Grandmasters Society in August 2024 and is recognized world wide.
SGM Pope began his training in 1985 under Grandmaster Mike Clark in Rogers, AR whom SGM Pope earned his 1st Degree Black Belt with the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) in 1987.  In December 1988 SGM Pope began training with Senior Grandmaster Rick Hall and has continued under his tutelage since that time.
